Intelligent Transport Systems

In the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), we address projects at concept level which are aimed at gathering, processing, distribution and reception of traffic information, especially in road transport.

Our professional activity is focused on:

• preparation of standardization and regulatory environment for electronic communications services aimed at providing traffic information,
• studies of technical and organizational implementation of traffic information services,
• analysis and design of business models for the collection, processing and distribution of traffic information,
• pilot projects for the introduction of traffic information services,
• exploring ways to provide traffic information through new communication technologies, such as digital radio and television,
• monitoring the development of information and communication protocols to support traffic awareness.

Reference projects

• European regional project EASYWAY

  Solution and support for the implementation of selected areas of intelligent transport systems in road transport in the Slovak Republic, focused on:

  • using Galileo in transportation,
  • testing systems of communicating vehicles,
  • interconnection of traffic information centers through the standard protocol of DATEX II,
  • supporting the implementation of eCall in Slovakia.
• Public transport information service RDS - TMC in Slovakia.
  Analysis and assessment of the state, measure proposals, recommendations and conclusions of the legislative aspects of the provision of traffic information services of RDS-TMC, business service delivery models, institutional security and the status of public sector in providing services, market analysis, marketing aspects of services, variations in the possible implementation of the public service of RDS-TMC, technical solutions of the public service and the impact of provided services on the environment.
• European regional project CONNECT
  Studies and pilot projects of traffic information centers and traffic information distribution through Traffic Message Channel in the radio data system (RDS-TMC) and the traffic-information web portal.
