Information about Price and about Requirements on Delivered Documents and Equipment under Tests

Requirements for Annexed Papers and Equipment

Along with the Application Form for the permission to use the logo "Vhodné pre slovenské DVB-T" (Suitable for Slovak DVB-T) the applicant is required to submit following papers and equipment to VUS, n.o.

1. Documents:

   • Technical specification - in compliance with the Technical Standard Information TNI 36 7554
   • Declaration of Conformity on Electrical Safety
     NOTE - In case that the applicant does not have the Declarations at disposal, on the basis of applicant's application VUS can carry out tests of equipment which are necessary for the issuing of such Declarations
   • Declaration of Conformity on EMC
   • Instructions for use - in Slovak language
   • Test reports with results of measurements of parameters according to TNI 36 7554, carried out by internal or external laboratories.
     NOTE - In case that the applicant does not have such reports at disposal, VUS can carry out tests in its laboratories or can provide it.
   The applicant can also provide other relevant documents, which can be useful in the process of assessment.

2. Sample of equipment:

   In specific cases when the compliance with TNI 36 7554 is credibly documented in delivered documents and the delivering of the sample is problematical, e.g. with regards to its dimensions or to the amount intended for the Slovak market, by consent with VUS it is possible to withdraw this requirement.

   The sample must meet following requirements:

   • Identification of the equipment must be written unerasably (manufacture, type, serial Nr, etc.)
   • The equipment must be functional and must not have any signs of outer damage
   • Seals of equipment under test must not be damaged.

Price

The total price for the assessment of the receiver and for the issuing of the permission to use the logo "Vhodné pre slovenské DVB-T" (Suitable for Slovak DVB-T) depends on the range of activities agreed with the applicant, whereas following parts are taken into account:

• Method of assessment (either test of the equipment + assessment of the documentation or assessment of the documentation only),
• Extent of submitted documentation,
• Outputs from the assessment (Test reports, Report on the inspection of parameters and other characteristics of the DVB-T receiver, Permission to use the logo).

Following unit prices are applied when calculating the total price:

• Price for testing the equipment, elaborating the test reports, assessment of the equipment based on submitted documentation and test reports and for the elaborating of protocol on the assessment of the equipment ................................................................................... 34 € per hour + VAT
• price for issuing the permission to use the logo "Vhodné pre slovenské DVB-T" (Suitable for Slovak DVB-T) ............... 65 € + VAT
